Damien Chazelle's Whiplash is a pie of master art of its screen play editing and sound. The deviation from the conventional student-teacher relation burst the taboo of pampering teaching. Even if JK Simmons Terence Fletcher represent the harsh and rude teacher,shadow of a loving and visionary one could not be forgotten. From the conventional inspirational film(don't know do there is a genre😃) Whiplash take a turn to the realistic approach to a struggler teenager(Andrew Neiman). In Whiplash the dogged mindset of a teenager is just framed here with out any emotional loss.
In the film extraordinary performance of the Simmons should be mentioned. Fascinating performance of the Whiplash in the 2015 Academy award is worth mentioning Whiplash won Best Film Editing, Best Sound Mixing, and Best Supporting Actor for Simmons, and was also nominated for Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Picture.
